William Shakespeare's Birthplace House in Bedfordale Western Australia was officially opened by Hon. Sir Charles Court, Premier of Western Australia on the 15th September 1977. This house, and village was built in the late 1970's by an Englishman Leo Fowler. He has spent his life reconstructing exquisite houses and buildings, and decided to build The Bard's house in Western Australia. He has faithfully replicated this house to every minute detail, and is the most authentic replica in the World. This has been a big part of Armadale's History and Tourist attractions, and now is a beautiful Bed & Breakfast, with unique surroundings.

The house is a true testament to the solid constructed Tudor establishments of the Tudor and Elizabethan times.

Shakespeare's works are still to this day as famous as they were in his day.
